Hazard & Opererability Studies (HAZOPS)

This is the application of a formal critical examination to the process and engineering intentions of new facilities at the design stage.

The purpose of the examination is to assess the hazard potential of mal-operation or malfunction of individual items of equipment and the consequential effects on the facilities as a whole.

Remedial action is then possible at a very early stage of the project with the maximum effectiveness and minimum cost.

The technique can also be applied to existing assets.

Our consultants have a wide range of experience in conducting HAZOPs and will guide you through the process and/or will assist you with advice. Please call the freephone number above for more information.
