Working at Height
This one day course explains the requirements of The Work at Height Regulations 2005 and Amendment Regulations 2007 describes different options to achieve a safe system of work. It provides an overview of how work at height may be carried out safely.
It enables planners, project managers, site supervisors and equipment specifiers to meet their responsibilities under the Regulations and explains in detail the key message of the Regulations, describing safety critical aspects of the working methods at each level of the hierarchy of control measures.
Differences between personal and collective measures are explained,
together with the characteristics of different methods of fall
protection and fall prevention.
Where practicable the course includes practical demonstration of each type of work method.
